TRAVERSING THE ALPS - july 24th 2018
With 844 kilometers and almost 23,000 metres of climbing, this tour travels from point to point most days. This trip’s route was designed for optimal cycling.
It traverses remote areas in order to offer the most spectacular experience for avid cyclists. We do not encourage non-riding companions to join this trip, as the focus is on the riding.

We will gather at Geneva (Cointrin) Airport in the morning, load our belongings into the vehicle, and have a mechanic make sure our bikes are in working order. We then cross into France and ride towards our first climb: Col de la Colombiere and our first lodgings at S Jean de Sixt.

The price for non-riding participants is $5,699.
- Meeting and start at Geneva airport.
- Drop off, including bike and luggage, at Nice airport. For those on the shorter tour (until July 30), drop off will be at Geneva airport

- Bicycle and required bicycle parts and equipment and bicycle maintenance (over and above basic initial tuning)
We will stay in chalets throughout our trip, and kosher hotels when possible. This means tour participants may have a single room, a double occupancy, or a room with more people. While we look forward to as comfortable a stay as possible, our real goal is to cycle.
